I 30 vinili più costosi venduti sul Marketplace di Discogs

La raccolta di dischi è una scienza bizzarra. La Top 30 mensile che scaturisce dal Marketplace di Discogs ne è la prova provata. Quella che presentiamo si riferisce al mese di Febbraio 2018.

Ci sono rilevazioni mensili che determinano che il vinile più costoso è quello di un artista o di una band sconosciuta, in altri casi sono proprio le band più conosciute ad occupare le primissime posizioni.
Punk e Hardcore sono stati determinanti nella nascita di produzioni economiche a tirature limitate e fai-da-te e, per mesi, sono stati i generi in testa alle classifiche di vendita, raggiungendo quotazioni astronomiche.

Poi ci sono artisti che sono sempre una scommessa sicura: nella Top 30 Most Expensive Items si troveranno sempre Beatles, Joy Division, Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, Nirvana, Black Sabbath,… e sembra che questa regola sia una costante, se pur con pesanti variazioni nelle cifre che i collezionisti sono disposti a spendere.

Psychedelic rock, Funk / Soul degli anni 70 e gli altri top di questa classifica, indicano chiaramente anche come i flussi di ascolto e di collezionabilità siano difficilmente prevedibili.
